Making Stupid Life Choices and Blaming It on Philippians 4:13

I recently had an article published by the awesome people at “A Game for Good Christians.” If you love the Bible, and realize that there are weird things in it, this game is for you. I highly recommend it for anyone who is serious about studying the Word.

What is Repentance?

What does it mean to repent? Why are we called to repent? What does repentance mean for our souls?

This week’s episode, we dive into the topic of repentance and what it means to turn from our sin and strive towards a deeper, more profound relationship with God.

What is Repentance?

This is the last video of our “What’s that?” series. Join us next week as we start a new series on the Parables of Jesus. Thanks for joining us, and remember, theology doesn’t have to be difficult, it is simply the study of who God is.

What is Grace?

What is grace? What does it mean to live by the grace of God? What does it do to our sin?

In this week’s episode, we cover the idea of grace and what it means for our sin. Ultimately, grace is something that we experience. Any words we come up with to describe it will fail to capture the true essence of grace. As always, the concept of grace can not be boiled down in one episode, but we will highlight the story of the Woman Caught in Adultery to try and understand what grace looks like.

Thursday’s Theology – Prayer Part V

Welcome to our 5th episode on prayer!

This week we talk about how theology is like watching a movie. Hearing from different people and their perspectives helps broaden our understanding of theology. There is beauty in the diversity of theological opinions.

Then we dive into how to be angry with God in our prayers. It is not taboo or forbidden, but an expression of our relationship with God. Anger is a natural part of any relationship, including our relationship with God. God desires us to be in full relationship, meaning the entire pantheon of emotion.

**By the way, I misspoke in the video, Habakkuk’s prophecy is right before the Babylonian exile, not the Assyrian.**

Let us know what you think!
